Gary Frings | CEO
For more than 20 years, Gary Frings has been helping clients to successfully utilize technology by leveraging is expertise in the distinct disciplines of business strategy and information systems. Before founding PerformanceG2, Inc., Gary served for 6 years as Managing Partner of Merador, a performance management consulting firm. Prior to helping to form Merador, Gary served as CEO and President of Systems Solutions Group (SSG) for more than 9 years. He founded SSG in 1991 and grew it into a multi-million dollar consulting firm. SSG was listed among the Inc 500 as one of the fastest growing, privately-held businesses in America in 1996, and was identified as the second fastest growing company in San Francisco in 1995. SSG was successfully sold in 2000. Gary began his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where he implemented software systems for clients in a wide array of industries, including international banking, insurance, manufacturing, and state government. He holds undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Finance from the University of Wisconsin, and received his MBA from the University of California’s Haas School of Business.

Kenneth Davenport | President
Ken Davenport has extensive experience helping companies develop strategy and process to achieve their goals. Prior to helping found PerformanceG2, Ken served as Regional General Manager for Merador, LLC, a corporate performance management company based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he helped build the company’s Southern California practice and lead a number of client implementations of business intelligence and financial management solutions in biotech, healthcare and high tech. Before joining Merador, Ken ran the high growth consulting practice for Quovera, Inc., a full-service consulting company based in the Silicon Valley. In addition, Ken is the former co-founder and CEO of NOVUS Technologies, Inc., a San Diego-based healthcare software company, where for over eight years he oversaw the development of systems for the storage and communication of digital medical imagery, EKG and other clinical patient data. Ken has also served as the Associate Director of the Center for Organization Effectiveness at the City of San Diego, and has been a featured speaker at numerous international technology and management conferences. He graduated with high honors in political science from the University of California, San Diego and has a Masters in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a Masters in International Management from the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at U.C. San Diego.

Michael Bloch | CFO
Michael Bloch has helped manufacturing, retail and financial service companies improve their ability to compete through strategic use of information technology for over 25 years. Prior to founding PerformanceG2, Michael was a senior partner at Merador LLC, a performance management consulting firm recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the nation. Before founding Merador in 2002, Michael’s ability to comprehend business problems and provide technical solutions led him to join the initial US executive team of collaborative commerce vendor iMediation (now GXS) as vice-president of Product Management. Michael was also an initial member of the Sales & Marketing team at Consumer Packaged Goods e-Marketplace Transora (now 1SYNC). Prior to Transora, Michael was senior product manager for Oracle’s Consumer Packaged Goods Suite, where he designed a business-process based Enterprise Resource Planning system for CPG manufacturers, then led customer implementation projects as senior practice director for Oracle Consulting. Michael began his career as a systems engineer with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), working closely with EDS’ banking clients to create the information infrastructure supporting new product introductions. Michael received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan, and his MBA from the University of California’s Haas School of Business.

Kirk Wiseman | Vice President, Training
Kirk has over 15 years experience in the information technology industry with an emphasis in Business Intelligence, specifically with Cognos where he spent over eight years of his career supporting the North and South American Cognos user base as a trainer, consultant and architect. Prior to PerformanceG2, Kirk was a Director with Merador, a performance management consulting firm recognized by INC. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the nation. Prior to Merador, Kirk was a trainer at Cognos Corporation where he was recognized with awards including – North American trainer of the year and Eclipse Outstanding Performance. In addition, Kirk was a Program Director at ITI, a private post-graduate school located throughout Canada. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Post Graduate diploma in Applied Information Technology from ITI.

Neil McHugh | Vice President, Sales
Neil McHugh comes to PerformanceG2 with over 15 years of experience in the Business Intelligence, IT and Economic Development sectors. Neil spent 7 years with Cognos, an IBM company in various roles, starting as a technical instructor and senior consultant. He then moved into management as a Director of Education for Cognos running the education practice for most of the United States in the commercial and public lines of business helping clients realize the full potential of their Business Intelligence investment through training and consulting by working closely with clients to develop and deliver training and consulting plans. Prior to Cognos, Neil served as a Director for a training company based out of Portland, OR as their Director of Training and Development for the student body and staff. Neil comes from a technical background and started in IT as a programmer and data warehouse developer and was part of an expansion team who developed new locations for the Information Technology Institute in Denver, CO and Portland, OR. Prior to the IT field Neil worked in the Economic Development sector helping new businesses and initiatives plan and execute new business plans or expansion plans successfully. Neil received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Francis Xavier University and holds and Master of Information Technology and Education from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
